This policy explains, in plain words, what information Hatch collects when you use it, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple on purpose.
Who we are
Hatch is a tool that helps you start a small business. It works out a business idea, plans and prices it, builds you a website, and gives you daily steps and a coach. You can reach us any time at nictonic21@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address and a secure login, so you can come back to your business.
- Your answers: the onboarding answers you give (your idea, hours, budget, goals and so on) and anything you type into the coach or the website editor.
- What Hatch builds for you: your business plan, prices, website, social posts and any photos or logos you upload.
- Payment: if you pay to go live, our payment provider handles your card details. We never see or store your full card number.
Why we use it
We use your information to create your business package, save your work so you can return to it, publish your website when you choose to go live, take payment, and improve how Hatch works. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Who we share it with
To run Hatch we use a small number of trusted providers, who only handle your data to provide their part of the service:
- Supabase stores your account and your saved work.
- Vercel hosts the app and your published website.
- Anthropic and OpenAI power the AI that writes your plan and creates images. Your inputs are sent to them to generate your results.
- Stripe processes payments securely.
Your published website
When you choose to go live, the website you build is public at the link you pick. Anything you put on it, including photos, is visible to anyone with the link. Only publish what you are happy to share.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account and its data. Just email us at nictonic21@gmail.com and we will sort it.
Keeping it safe
We take sensible steps to protect your information and only keep it for as long as you use Hatch or as the law requires. No service can promise perfect security, but we treat your data with care.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If the change is important, we will let you know.
